CHASE DIETZ TAKES LABOR DAY DUELS NIGHT TWO AT LINCOLN SPEEDWAY

ABBOTTSTOWN, PA (September 6, 2026) - Chase Dietz emerged victorious in Night #2 of the Labor Day Duels at Lincoln Speedway for the ninth time this season.

Freddie Rahmer powered into the early lead, with Dietz and Preston Lattomus battling side-by-side for second. Lattomus initially fended off Dietz, while Logan Rumsey settled into fourth and Austin Bishop ran fifth.

Dietz was still working on Lattomus for second as they both began closing the gap on Rahmer. The leaders quickly encountered heavy lapped traffic on lap eight, but before Rahmer could make a move, the caution flew for Buddy Schweibinz, who had stopped on the frontstretch.

Rahmer led Lattomus, Dietz, Rumsey and Bishop back to the green. Troy Wagaman Jr. immediately went to work, getting underneath Bishop to move into the top five. Dietz found his way around Lattomus for second, and left him to fend off Rumsey and Wagaman.

Rumsey eventually moved into third, with Wagaman following into fourth and Danny Dietrich advancing to fifth.

By lap 15, Rahmer and Dietz had opened a sizable advantage over the field and were once again approaching slower traffic. Rahmer and Dietz were racing for the lead in turn 4, when Rahmer got out of shape which brought out the caution.

The incident handed the lead to Dietz, with Rumsey, Wagaman, Dietrich and Lattomus rounding out the top five for the restart.

Dietz got a strong restart and maintained control, while Wagaman challenged Rumsey for second. Dylan Norris soon joined the top five.

A red flag on lap 20 for Lattomus, brought another interruption to the action. Dietz again took advantage of the restart, while Danny Dietrich moved alongside Wagaman to challenge for third.

Dietz continued to run the high side of the speedway and began pulling away from the field.

With two lapped cars battling side-by-side directly ahead of the leaders, the red flag flew again on lap 28 for Lance Dewease.

When racing resumed, Norris moved past Wagaman for fourth before another caution appeared on lap 29 when Billy Dietrich slowed in turn 4.The final restart set Dietz at the front with Rumsey, Dietrich, Norris and Wagaman making up the top five. Wagaman quickly fought back, reclaiming fourth from Norris, while Dietrich began closing in on Rumsey for second.Stutts charged into the top five with just two laps remaining, but all eyes were focused on the battle for second.

At the checkered flag, Dietz secured the Labor Day Duels Night #2 victory, while Dietrich edged Rumsey at the line for second. Wagaman finished fourth, with Stutts rounding out the top five.

Jayden Wolf Charges to 358 Sprint Victory

Jayden Wolf raced to the front of the 358 Sprint Car feature at Lincoln Speedway on Night #2 of the Labor Day Duels, taking the lead from Tim Wagaman on lap 11 and pulling away to a commanding victory.

Wagaman, who won the 358 Sprint Car feature the previous night, started from the front row and immediately returned to the lead. The opening lap, however, was interrupted when Brock Hammaker and Chance Hendershot tangled in turn 4, forcing a complete restart.

Shannon Slaughter moved to the front row alongside Wagaman for the restart, with the defending winner once again charging into the lead when the green flag waved. Fletcher moved into second ahead of Slaughter, Wolf and Galloway.

Wolf quickly moved past Slaughter for third, while Will McNeal worked his way into the top five by getting around Galloway.

The second caution of the night came on lap six when Bo Gordon and Blake Ludwig both spun, setting up another restart.

Fletcher immediately challenged Wagaman on the outside when racing resumed, but Wagaman held the point. Wolf stayed within striking distance of Fletcher, repeatedly pressuring him for second before finally making his move on lap 10.

Once into second, Wolf wasted little time closing the gap to Wagaman. He reeled in the leader in just one lap and completed the pass for the lead on lap 11.

Wolf quickly established himself as the car to beat, opening a straightaway advantage over Wagaman as the feature continued. Behind the leaders, McNeal moved past Slaughter, while Brock Hammaker worked his way back through the field and into fourth, with McNeal settling into fifth.

By the time Wolf reached lapped traffic, he had built a commanding 3.5-second advantage over the field.

Wolf scored his third victory of the season with Wagaman settling for second. Fletcher crossed the line third and Hammaker had an impressive run after his early race mishap to finish fourth. McNeal completed the top five.

Lincoln Speedway is back in action on Saturday, September 26 with York Excavating Night for the 410 Sprints (PA Posse Series) and 358 Sprints. Racing is scheduled for 7PM with pit gates opening at 4:30PM and grandstand gates opening at 5PM.
