Port Royal Speedway Honors Local Heroes with First Responders Night This Saturday

Port Royal, PA -- Port Royal Speedway will salute the men and women who dedicate their lives to serving their communities during First Responders Night this Saturday, with an evening full of racing action, family activities, and special tributes to local first responders. The event is proudly sponsored by Fleet Reps.

As a token of appreciation, all first responders with proper identification will receive general admission for just $10.

The evening's opening ceremonies will feature a Fire Company Honor Guard presenting the American flag, while a large American flag will be prominently displayed from a ladder truck positioned along the backstretch access road, creating a memorable backdrop for the night's festivities.

Fans will also have the opportunity to get up close to the equipment used by the area's emergency personnel during the "Touch-A-Truck" display, featuring fire apparatus along with other first responder vehicles, allowing children and families to meet the men and women who serve their communities every day.

Throughout the night, Pennian Bank will sponsor the popular Kids' Money Scramble, giving young fans the chance to collect cash and go home with some extra money in their pockets. In addition, fans can look forward to more than 100 free T-shirts and other giveaways during the evening.

On the track, fans can expect another great night of competition as the area's top drivers battle around The Speed Palace.

General admission is $20 for adults, while students ages 13-17 are admitted for $10. Children 12 and under are free, and pit admission is $35.
